Principal's Message

Titans Bulletin from Mr. Patino

Cedar Hill Titans Logo

Happy Friday Parents and Families,

I wanted to begin by apologizing that I did not send out my weekly message last week.  I must have been a little off since our week concluded on Wednesday.

Nonetheless, I wanted to thank all of you for supporting our teachers and your students on this short but frigid week.

One of our Instructional focuses this week was small group instruction.  It is so important for our teachers to attend to the specific needs of our students.  The whole goal is to meet our students where they are in their learning.  Still, our expectation is that we support our students where they are instructionally but also where they are in every aspect of the school.

Furthermore, my hope is that we are supporting all of our students and all of our families in a way that attends to each and everyone's need(s).  Each of us is concerned with different things; we have different concerns.  But as a school, administrators, staff and teachers we all still need to work hard to communicate with you and get to know all of you in a way that allows us to support you the best we can.

This morning we had a Local School Council Meeting where we had a few parents attend.  The conversation lead to opportunities to continue to support all of you.  Specifically, we are looking at how to offer feedback on the student use of iReady.  As well as we are looking to develop a PTA to start next year.  Be on the lookout for upcoming meetings that provide information for both of these school experiences. Please consider joining us when we send out dates so that you can offer your input at both the Local School Council and the PTA.

As always . . . please feel free to reach out if you have any questions . . .

Thank You For All Of Your Support,

Tony Patino
